Welcome to the Ice Fish Inn, a seven-room country B&B in the North Woods of Maine, on the doorstep of Mt. Katahdin and the northern terminus of the Appalachian Trail. Our Inn is on the north end of Millinocket's central business district, just steps away from restaurants, award-winning art galleries and other main street shops. Millinocket is the gateway community to Mount Katahdin and Baxter State Park; the Appalachian Mountain Club's 100-Mile Wilderness; the Allagash and other world-class waterways; and the Golden Road into the North Woods region of Maine.

Something For Everyone

The Millinocket area has something to offer to everyone year-round, whether it's hiking, paddling, hunting, snowmobiling, skiing, ATV'ing, fishing or enjoying the Fall foliage. We can set you up with maps, information, and recommendations of what to see and where to go. We can lend you a rod and lures or an ice fishing set-up if you're here for the fish. Or if you're in town on business, your room can be set up with business amenities to make your stay both productive and comfortable.

Our Inn

The Ice Fish Inn is one of the four oldest houses in Millinocket, which has been expanded at least three times in over a century. We have seven guest rooms, equipped with queen beds and each with its own private bath. Our two downstairs rooms are pet-friendly. We have cable, a large DVD collection, lots of books, 24/7 coffee and tea, and the fastest wifi in town. The parlour and dining room can be set-up for socializing, watching movies, or private conferencing with full coffee service. Or just kick back in a comfortable rocking chair on our spacious enclosed porch and watch the daily seven-car backup at downtown's only traffic light during Millinocket's infamous rush-minute. The coffee's always on so come on in and make us your home away from home in Millinocket.
